    General Meeting
    Thursday, Oct 29th 7:30p to 8:30p
At this crucial meeting, we will make our final presentations to the community and, after another opportunity for questions, we will be holding a vote on the resolutions, both to allow us to negotiate and sign a loan agreement, and also to negotiate and sign a construction contract. The formal Calling Notice for this meeting will be sent out in the next few days. Given that this is a virtual meeting, we will be using a new electronic voting system, for which instructions will be sent out in advance. https://zoom.us/j/6861340661 Meeting ID: 6861340661 Password: siddur

Scandals, Vandals & angels - the sculptor Jacob Epstein

    Wednesday, Nov 4th 2:00p to 3:00p
Was the artist Jacob Epstein a wild experimenter or a conventional portrait sculptor, jewish through and through, or more touched by the Christian tradition, internationally important or rather tame and prosaic? We will look at many of Epstein's works, especially his monumental sculptures, and try to form our own understanding of the man. Steve Miller is a former chair of Limmud and an adviser to government agencies on social matters.
