    Thursday, Apr 22nd 8:00p to 9:00p
Has Covid changed the way we will use our building?
What have we learned from the past year that we need to hold on to as we build? We are forming a group of 25 members* to spend the evening together generating ideas for new and innovative ways to use our new space. The discussion will be facilitated by Rabbi Miriam Berger. Please email suzi.becker@frs.org.uk to register. * If you are not able to join us, we would still love to hear your ideas. Please email suzi.becker@frs.org.uk

    Castaway Stories
    Wednesday, May 5th 2:00p to 3:00p
For several years, writer and FRS member Jessica Munk has captured the life stories and music of our Jewish community by interviewing ‘Castaways’ just as the BBC Radio 4 programme Desert Island Discs does. She will talk about why our family jokes, memories and songs need to be recorded for future generations, and why the Radio 4 programme’s format works so well for Jews.

    Who is Righteous?
    Wednesday, May 12th 2:00p to 3:00p
Righteous people seek justice, give charity to the poor and use their wisdom for good. BUT what about those who disagree with us about what is right, just or good? Can they be righteous or are they simply wrong? We will attempt to answer questions such as ‘Why people are divided by politics and religion?’. Janet Berenson is an FRS member and professional Jewish educator.
