Please Note: While we would love to welcome everyone, due to the success of Simchat Torah, this is a booking form for FRS members only. We hope to open it to non-members as soon as we are can.
 

5784 has brought challenges we could never have imagined as a community. We have thought carefully about how to mark this year’s Simchat Torah. In line with our Israeli and Reform Movement colleagues around the world, we take our lead from the message that “We Will Dance Again”. We dance for those who no longer can. We dance because it is what our people have done for centuries. We dance in honour and memory of those we knew and loved, and those we never had the opportunity to meet.

Our Erev Simchat Torah service will be full of joy and dancing, while our Simchat Torah morning service will include an extended Yizkor Service at it’s start. We hope you will join us.

As Erev Simchat Torah is a Chag, we are asking you to order your food in advance. The options are as follows:

Feed the Village
Our lovely Vegan food truck is returning this year with the following options:

• "Oh Burger" - £10.50
  Pink onions, gherkins, burger sauce, vegan patty, lettuce served on our amazing vegan brioche buns
• Truffle Shuffle Burger £12
  Truffle mayo, pink onions, crispy onions, rocket, balsamic reduction, vegan patty
• Sriracha Slinger Burger £12
  Our spicy option, with sriracha rainbow slaw and jalapenos
• Cheese and Spicy Slaw Fries (GF) £8
  Skin on fries with grated smoked applewood, jalapenos and spicy sriracha slaw
• Cheese and Truffle Loaded Fries (GF) £8
  Skin on fries with grated smoked applewood, homemade cheese sauce and truffle mayo
• Cajun Fries (GF) £5
• Fries (GF) £5
• "Dan Dan" noodles with tofu £12
• Soft Drinks (Coke, Coke zero, Fanta, Sprite, Water) £2.75

Betty's Bike
Our wonderful Betty's Bike team will be selling hot drinks, baked goods and mocktails for £3 each. You can purchase Betty's Bike tokens which can be used on Erev Simchat Torah and throughout the year. 

Betty's Bike will also be selling jacket potatoes with a choice of toppings (cheese, beans, tuna) and a salad garnish for £8.

Children's portions aren't available, so we recommend sharing if possible. 

We wish to welcome as many people as would like to join us at FRS community events, and never want cost to be a barrier to taking part. Erev Simchat Torah has become a highlight of the FRS calendar.  It's amazing to see our building so full, bringing joy and celebrations to our Simchat Torah and helping us to wrap up the High Holy Day period. If you are able to help support this event, we’d be enormously grateful.
