FRS returns to its tradition of welcoming Limmud stars before conference! Join Bat Ella direct from Israel, en route to her performance at Limmud, as together we remember Debbie Friedman - a good friend of Bat Ella and FRS.

We’ll sing songs of Debbie’s, as well as other Israeli favourites, as we find light and hope through music on this 6th night of Chanukah.

Our evening will start at 6.30pm with Kabbalat Shabbat (where we will welcome Bat Ella to lead the music with us). It will be followed by dinner, and then a concert with plenty of opportunity for everyone to sing.

Bat Ella is an Israeli singer and recording artist best known for performing with Debbie Friedman (z"l) and helping to bring Debbie's music to Israel, translated into Hebrew. With 5 solo albums and music from traditional to modern, liturgical to Israeli, Bat Ella has touched audiences worldwide with her inspirational music and dynamic presence.
