Membership
By the end of 2021 we were a community of over 2100, being almost 1400 adults and around 700 children.
Despite, or maybe because of, the pandemic, we welcomed 143 new adults and children to the community during the year and enjoyed a net growth of members of around 4%. Much of this increase related to the creation of the new category of member - an Associate - who is a full member at another synagogue but who feels part of FRS by joining in on services and activities, generally on Zoom.
We have a wonderful small team of members who speak to prospective and new members to help them find their place in the community, and who host quarterly new member evenings.
