Chevra Kadisha
Volunteers from FRS work with volunteers from other local synagogues and from the Joint Jewish Burial Society. Volunteers are given comprehensive training and support.
Due to the pandemic restrictions this year volunteers were unable to be involved in this mitzvah which was completed by the undertakers. It is hoped that we will soon be able to resume following a refresher course.
This is very rewarding and interesting work as this mitzvah can never be repaid.
