School (CRP) Points

Covid 19 Update

During the current situation, schools have set their own new procedures for gaining CRP points. Please check each school's website carefully for the latest information.

If they are happy to accept screenshots of online services, you are welcome to attend our services, take screenshots and when you have as many as you need, email them to our Youth & Education Manager, Rachel Fidler, along with your completed CRP form. She will sign this electronically and return it to you as a PDF.

Collecting School (CRP) Points at FRS

We are pleased to help you collect CRP (Certificate of Religious Practice) points for admission to a Jewish school.

FRS Members: You do not need to register with FRS to collect CRP points.
Non FRS Members: Please register with Rachel Fidler by completing the contact form below, including the child's name, parent/carer’s name(s), mobile and e-mail address.

FRS members, and non-members alike, should collect one token per Shabbat (Friday or Saturday) by attending any of our synagogue services. See below for details of our services. Please note, Chaggim (festivals) do not count towards points.

Collecting Tokens

Please ask the service leader for the token at the end of the service, they will not give them out at the beginning.

Confirmation of Attendance

Rachel will e-mail details of times when she or Karen Bloom will be available to sign application forms for members, and when Rabbi Miriam is available to sign forms for non-members.

You must check the websites of all the schools to which you are applying for the number of tokens/visits required, and print off their application forms.  Please bring these with you to the meeting, along with the tokens, with all the relevant personal information pre-filled in.
